Getting Started

1. Registration

Click on the “Register Now” button at the top of the screen. This will take you to our cashback shopping site. Once there, complete the short registration process including the selection of the Hospital Trust you wish to support. By registering you agree that 50% of the cashback your shopping generates will be donated to your chosen Hospital Charitable Trust, with the remaining 50% being paid to you.

2. Getting paid

In order for us to pay you the cashback you earn, you will either need to enter your bank account details in the “My Account” section of the website, or choose to receive payment in Amazon vouchers. Choosing the voucher option attracts a 5% bonus.

You are now ready to shop online!

3. Shopping Online

Shopping online is easy. Simply select any retailer from our list of retailers, and follow the link to their website. You will have an opportunity at this point to see if there are any discount codes available for your selected retailer. Once on the retailer's website, browse and make purchases as you would normally, remembering to enter any discount codes you may have been given at the checkout. Any purchases made will be tracked and the appropriate amount of cashback credited to your account as soon as the transaction has been validated. There is a search facility both on our cashback site and our downloadable toolbar (see Get Involved section) that will help you find the retailer or product you need.

4. Shopping in store

The best thing about Hospital Gift is that it is now possible to raise money for your chosen Hospital Charitable Trust when you shop in store. You will also earn yourself some cashback in store, so everybody is a winner! If you want to generate cashback when you shop in store, you simply need to click on the pink “Earn Cashback In Store” at the top of the page. This will allow you to enter the details of up to 15 different debit or credit cards. Every time you use one of your registered cards in our participating retailers this will generate you some cashback. This cashback will be credited to your account and paid out along with any cashback generated by your online purchases.

5. Security

The security of your personal data is extremely important to us. In relation to all your personal data we maintain a high level of security, in particular in relation to payment cards held. If you have any questions or comments about our policy, please contact us directly.

We operate a multi-tier security approach:

• When you enter your card details on a computer this is transmitted to us encrypted within secure webpages using SSL, Data, and Password encryption technology.
• Your card numbers are only stored and processed in encrypted format and only the last 4 digits are visible (both to you and our customer services team). This means that if anyone does guess your email address/password combination they will not be able to see the full card number that you have registered.
• Data storage on our systems, and the communication between us and the financial and technology companies is in accordance with legislation and best practice within the payment card industry.
• We never ask you to provide the card expiry date or security code. This means that ‘cardholder not present’ (e.g. internet) transactions cannot be carried out with the data that we hold for you. Of course we do not know your PIN for high street transactions either.
